Memories

There is not a day that goes by that you are not missed.  So many little daily things bring your memories to my heart and mind.  There are so many things that you tought just by you actions.  I'm sure you never gave any thought to how much the way you carried yourself would have such lasting impacts on the people around you.  Deer season and the holidays are fast approaching and we will all be missing you and thinking of you.  We will gather at Jons and feel so close to you.  We have a little Poodle Pug mix that we named Remington- You would love him, Gracie and I talked about that this evening.    Gracie still loves the memories of studing the birds with the bird book and she still screames at grackles-she does hate thoes birds, to this day.   Gracie is still the animale lover-she will adopt any stray, we have many, that have come and gone.

We love you and miss you, feel like you are watching over me daily-the great memories I have with you are many times what has carried me through losing you way to early in my life.

I love and miss you.

Suzy.  Oh Suzy Q- Loved it when you sang that song to me.,

Dear Jim

Fall is here again. I was thinking this morning about the fall that, mother, Betty, tootsie, Lakita, and I came over to visit. you were so busy in the fields harvesting crops. Yet you laid your work to the side. You hitched the wagon to the tractor, loaded it with hay. we had so much fun riding thru the woods. No matter how busy you were, anytime we were there you always managed to give us some quality time for us. Just wanted to let you know what a wonderful brother-in-law you were. In all the years I knew you, I never once heard you raise your voice in anger. i never saw you lose your temper. you always had the patients of job. Think you for being such a wonderful brothe- in-law. I will always miss you.

Dad, we celebrated Alice and Jon's B-days yesterday here at my house, so many  people came! Of course we all missed you!!! You always made everything so special.... The kids swam and they had so much fun, Jon even jumped in the pool with them, he's so much like you it's good for all the grandkids to see you in him. I miss you so much what I wouldn't give for one day to visit with you just to hear your voice see you smile, laugh tell me a story. Ellen and Maddie miss you Ellen especialy as she was so close to her pa pa, but she knows you watch over us as do I. I love and miss you  wish you were here in person to share in all our blessings.

Hi DAD, just missing you and thought I'd drop a line or two. I have a B-Day coming up and I was remembering how you always said you didn't know how old I was on any particular year, and then you'd flash that smile and chuckle, I really miss that! I miss so much about you but the memories are good and time is passing. There was a point that I thought it would not, how could tommorrow come without MY DAD here, but it has, the sun still rises and sets and you are in heaven watching over us. I just want everyone to know how much you are STILL missed and how lucky we all were to have GOD bless us with your presence even if it wasn't long enough. I love you and you have a special place in my heart as always daddy,

Your Loving Daughter,

CARRIE ANN

You all are so blessed w/ so many wonderful memories of Jim.  Don't think of him as gone.  He is still w/ all of you, in all those memories.  It is still possible to make new ones w/ him for he is everyones gaurdian angel.  When you are doing something that you would do together (with Jim), he can be right there with you.  Laugh like he is, love like he is and live like he is.  For he would not want it any other way.

I enjoyed reading the memories of my uncle Jim.  Thank you everyone for sharing.

I remember him as being funny.

Thinking of you all, everyone take care.
