Just a Breath Away
Look for me in the springtime.
 As raindrops fill the air
In the splendor of the rainbow
You’ll find my presence there.

You will find me in the fragrance
Of April’s sweet perfume
Drifting through the clover
On a sultry day in June.

An August day will find me
Upon the summer breeze
On the distant sound of the thunder
In the gently swaying trees.

In the golden fields of harvest
Is where I can be found.
As autumn time approaches
And leaves comes tumbling down

In the wintertime when days are short
And chill is in the air
Just look into a moonlit night
You’ll find me lingering there.

When the setting sun has gone away
And shadows fill the night
When the cloak of darkness lifts its veil
I’ll be your morning light.

So when you feel discouraged
Get on your knees and pray
You’ll feel me there beside you
I’m just a breath away.

This memorial website, was created to remember our dearest James Allan Caldwell. Born In Rushville Illinois, on September 17 1950, and passed away March 22nd, 2006. You will live forever in our hearts and  memories.
   All Is Well

Death is nothing at all.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
I am I, And you are you.
Whatever we were to each other,
That we still are.
Call me by my old familiar name,
Speak to me in the easy way
which you always used.
Put no difference in your tone,
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed
at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Pray, smile, think of me,pray for me.
Let my name be ever
the household word that it always was,
Let it be spoken without effect,
Without the trace of a shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it ever was;

There is unbroken continuity.
Why should i be out of mind

because I am out of sight?

I am waiting for you, For an interval,

somewhere very near, just round the corner.

                  All is well.

As I ponder the love that I saw in his eyes, A Godly love, given without compromise.... I recall many times that he stood by my side, And prodded me on with great vigor and pride. His voice ever confident, firm and yet fair, Always speaking with patience, tenderness and care. The power and might of his hands was so sure, I knew there was nothing we couldn't endure. It's true, a few others provided insight, Yet, he laid the foundation that kept me upright. He's the grandest of men to have lived on this earth, Although he's not royal by stature or birth. He's a man of great dignity, honor and strength. His merits are noble, and of admirable length. He's far greater than all other men that I know, He's my Dad, he's my mentor, my friend and hero.

Happy Fathers Day Dad, Love Susan, Carrie, and John

Jim wrote Bonnie this poem some years ago, for her birthday. She has given me permission to use it. So I would like to share it with everyone, This poem was also read at Jims memorial service.

This isn't a card
All fancy and bright,
But to make it was hard

And took most of a night.

I think that you'll like it
Not say it's so dumb,

You surely think I forgot
That your birthday has come.
Now this little poem
That I'm writing all new,
Will tell you of some
Of my great love for you.
Your voice and your hand
Are such comforts to me,
I hope you understand
They are all that I need.
I'ld like to repay you
For all that you've given,
But never will start to
Not one part even.
The best I can do
Is just tell you right now,
I love you so much
And I'll tell you, somehow.
I so want to give you
What you want in life,
In return for you being
Such a wonderful wife.
This birthday I'm sure
Will be full of good cheer,
And full of the love
That I'll give you, my dear.

              Love Jim

                    CHRISTMAS IN HEAVEN

I still hear the songs,I still see the lights,I still fill your love, on cold winter nights.
I still share your hopes & all of your cares, I'll
even remind you to please say your prayers.
I just want to tell you, you still make me proud, You stand head and shoulders above all the crowd.

Keep trying each moment to stay in His grace, I came here before you, to help set your place.

You don't have to be perfect all of the time, he forgives you the slip if you continue to climb.
To my family and friends, please be thankful today, I'm still close beside you, in a new special way.

I love you all dearly, now don't shed a tear, cause i'm spending my Christmas with Jesus this year.
